Film Society of Lincoln Center presents Community Film Viewing and Making

6:30-7:30 pm Community Artist Workshop

7:30-8:30 pm Performance

In the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Community Film Viewing and Making program, children, families, and community members screen a series of award winning short films by kids and professionals from around the world and then make an animation of their very own.

Films will include stop motion animation by teen filmmaker Georgia Cross; My School Project, a short film by students in the Film Society Kids program; and the award-winning animation Ernesto by Corinne Landiende. Then, Film Society of Lincoln Center filmmakers and educators will guide audience members in creating their own animation about the meaning of community.

All events are free and open to the public. Boro-Linc events are recommended for all ages and their family members. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Families are encouraged to arrive early in advance of the program to secure their seats.

DON’T FORGET TO RSVP! For more information and to RSVP, visit LincolnCenter.org/BoroLincBrooklyn. Families must arrive at least ten minutes in advance of the program to secure their seats. All reserved seats will become available to the wait list ten minutes before each performance on a first-come, first-served basis.
